Privacy Policy

Liga is built to be simple and private. We collect as little as possible, we never sell your personal data, and we never track you across other apps or websites. This page explains, plainly, what we hold and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Profile information you give us
When you create an account you provide a name and email address, and you may optionally add a profile photo, a city, and the sports you play. This is the core of your Liga profile.
Your gameplay
As you use Liga we store the matches, scores, ratings, and friend connections you create in the app — the things that make your rankings and history work.
Basic technical data
To keep the app running and to fix problems, we process a small amount of technical information such as your platform (iOS, Android, or web), app version, and a notification token if you turn on match notifications.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above only to run Liga for you:
- Record your matches and calculate your ratings and rankings
- Connect you with friends and other players
- Send you notifications you've asked for, such as match updates
- Keep the app secure, fix bugs, and provide support
Under the GDPR, we process this data to provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract), for our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and secure, and, where relevant, with your consent for optional features.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal data. Other players can see the match results and scores you record together — that's how a shared game works. Beyond that, we only share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the app on our behalf (for example, secure cloud hosting, crash diagnostics, and payment processing for subscriptions), and only the minimum they need to do their job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your Rights
You are in control of your data. You can:
- Access a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's inaccurate
- Delete your account and its data from within the app
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to certain processing
If you're in California, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and to have it deleted. To make any request, email us at haraldluckow@gmail.com.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems, retaining it only briefly where needed to complete the deletion or where the law requires. You can delete your account at any time from the app.
Children
Liga is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
International Users
Liga is available internationally, and your data may be processed on secure servers located in Europe, the United States, or other regions our service providers operate in. Wherever it's processed, it's protected by the same commitments described here.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we'll revise the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
